Foreign Fables: Saint Denis

This is the first of many posts I intend on writing while abroad not about what we've been doing, but focusing on bits of history and trivia that I believe is worth a read.
While traveling through Paris, one cannot help but to occasionally run into Saint Denis, patron saint of Paris. More than likely, he'll probably be found without a head.

Long story short, after being persecuted and beheaded in the middle of the third century, this Paris Bishop is said to have preached a sermon while walking 10 kilometers- his head in hands.

- Cheers, Jake
